New Season, New Circuits – lets Race!

The new Classic Endurance season looks to be the most exciting for years – five races, with four championship rounds and an Oschersleben Speedweek 4hrs event to top it off. The team’s racing year starts at Valencia with a 3-day test in March, followed by the Osch event in May. Here is the full calendar:

Valencia test 15th – 17th March. Oschersleben 4hrs May 20th -23rd Paul Ricard 4 hrs 10th June Spa Francorchamps 4hrs 2nd/3rd July Navarra ( ESP) 4 hrs 6th/7th August Most (CZ) 4 hrs 8th/9th October

Peter Lindén will again be the mainstay of the season, competing in all races, supported by Phil Atkinson and Hugh Brasher where work and other commitments allow.

Navarra and Most have never hosted classic, or world endurance events before, so those new races will be particularly enjoyable.

The main team members can’t wait to get cracking and this year we are keen to introduce some new starters to enjoy the experiences and invest in the future. If anyone has ever thought of joining the team – now is the time.! The season beckons.

  1. Hi Alida,
Thanks for the regular updates, and 2022 is looking much better than the last couple of years upset by Covid.

I’m going to try and get to as many races as I can as usual, having followed you all for a few years now.

Disappointed I could not get to say hello at Paul Ricard last year, but could not get past security, what I really like about the Classic Endurance is being able to say Hi! and if lucky might even get a cup of tea! lol

I wish you Russell and all the team the very best for 2022 as the UKs longest successful competing race team in Europe!

I’d love to help in some way, but not sure if I can make the commitment you require at the moment.
    One day maybe!

    All the best

    Brendan

    1. Thanks Brendan, its great to know that your support is there ! We are off testing at Valencia in March and then off to Oschersleben in May, before returning to Paul Ricard around the 10th June for round one of the euro classic endurance championship. Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you want to get involved in some way, volunteers always welcomed. !! At the moment we are short of a cook, poor Linda having passed away to the great kitchen in the sky last year. We could probably do with training another general hand too – an investment for the future. If anyone is interested, for as much or as little commitment as you like, please drop us a mail….russell@phaseone.co.uk. Regards RB
